Hiking Lofoten

The expansive and impressive scenery of Lofoten will stimulate and give energy to your mind and body. Green mountains and towering peaks rise straight up from the frequently stormy sea, and with small fjords, marshes, ponds and woods clinging to the tight spaces in between.  However, even in the steep and wild mountains of the Lofoten it is possible to enjoy an easy hiking tour. Down on the plains at the foot of the mountains,you will find small fishing stations and this tour includes both spectacular nature and enjoyable cultural experiences. Our tours always combine amazing outdoor experiences with visits to art galleries, museums etc. Overnight accommodation is booked in hotels and genuine fishermen’s cabins. The weather so far north can be erratic, so it is important to always be flexible and be prepared to make changes to the original program. It is aslo essential that you remember to bring some warm clothes, in case of changing weather.
