The trip starts and ends at Skeikampen, 30 km north-west of Lillehammer. Large stretches of the trip pass across the same trails as Family tour in Peer Gynts Kingdom, but this tour is somewhat longer and takes you in the opposite direction. The last part of the tour passes through Espedalen, where we recommend you visit Espedalen Fjellkirke (mountain church) and stop to look at the remnants after Verksodden Gruveanlegg (mining facility). Another popular attraction is 'Helvete '(hell), featuring northern Europe’s largest geological potholes.
From Espedalen you can choose between two routes to Skeikampen: via Svingvoll or via Austlid. Plenty of parking at Skeikampen. The tour can be done between june 15th - september 1st.

Day:
1:  Starting point is Skeikampen where you spend the first night.
2:  Cycling from Skeikampen to Gålå - 30 km. Easy day-trip where you might experience some traffic since most of the stage is on
     the "Peer Gynt Road". Some uphill from Skei, then a steep ascent for approx. 2 km before you reach the rolling mountain road to
     Fagerhøi. From Fagerhøi to Gålå there are a few hills but mostly easy biking on nice roads.
     Overnight in Gålå.
3:  Cycling from Gålå to Fefor -21 km. Easy day-trip, where you can chose from tarmacked road or mountain road, long or short trip,
     depending on what you wish to do.
     Overnight in Fefor.
4:  Cycling from Fefor - Espedalen - Strand - 29 km. Easy day-trip, on the "Peer Gynt Road" to Espedalen. This stage is a typical 
     "roller-coaster-ride" of a day, with winding roads and rolling hills. Some uphill on parts of the stage, but you are rewarded with
     lovely views over Rondane and Jotunheimen mountains. The last 13 km are along the RR 255 on tarmacked road with some traffic.
     Overnight in Strand Fjellstue.
5:  Cycling from Strand to Skeikampen via Austlid - 55 km. Average day-trip. You can chose from different routes, depending on
     where you want to go. Some uphill along the way.
