This tour takes you to Femund, Norway’s 3rd largest lake, 662 metres above sea level, with spectacular scenery featuring virgin forest, mountain expanses, fishing lakes, rivers and streams. There is also plenty of countryside with little or no tourist traffic. You start in the old and unique mining-town Røros, which is listed on the UNESCO`s World Heritage List. It is one of very few preserved towns with wooden buildings. It thus is an excellent starting point for a bicycle tour. Røros industrial history is fascinating, as well as its numerous cultural treasures and magnificent nature.The ferryboat 'MS Fæmund' takes you and your bike from Sørvika to Jonasvoll, and from there it is easy biking to Johnsgård.
The next day you bike on asphalt road with little traffic, maybe you will be lucky enough to see a genuine 'Norwegian' reindeer! You will also experience the beautiful cultural landscape around Vingelen -- an agricultural district with many mountain summer farms and grazing animals along the roadside.

Day 1:
Arrival at Røros (by car, plane or train). 
Overnight stay at Vertshuset Røros.
Day 2:
Cycling the Mølmannsdalen valley from Røros to Langen - 35 km. Easy day-trip through a quiet area with almost no traffic - on gravelled and grassy roads/paths. There might be some distances in the beginning where you have to walk. The last leg is on road with some traffic. 
Overnight stay at Langen.
Day 3:
Cycling from Langen to Sørvika (Synnervika) - 3 km. Ferryboat 'MS Fæmund II' to Jonasvoll (2 hours).
Cycling from Jonasvoll to Johnsgard Touristcentre - 32 km. Easy day-trip on mostly flat, tarmacked roads. 
Overnight stay at Johnsgard Touristcentre.
Day 4:
Cycling from Johnsgard to Hodalen - 50 km. Average day-trip. Cycle back to Sømådalen church, then on to RV 28 to Hodalen. Rolling but easy roads. Last leg is on mostly flat, and tarmac roads.

Day 5:
Cycling from Hodalen to Vingelen - 24 km. Easy day-trip with the first leg to Tolga on tarmac, then gravel on to Vingelen.
Overnight stay at Vingelen Gjestgiveri.
Day 6:
Biking from Vingelen to Røros - 46 km.
Average day-trip on rolling mountain roads. The first leg has almost no traffic, but towards Røros you might encounter some more traffic.
