Einunndalen - Folldal - Grimsdalen
This bike trip passes through an area of spectacular nature - through Grimsdalen, more than 1100 metres above sea level. Folldal is the entrance to the national parks Dovrefjell and Rondane Mountains. On this trip you will experience the Rondane Mountains from another perspective. Einunndalen valley is one of the longest dairy farm valleys in Norway – and still full of life. From the road's highest point you have a beautiful view to both Snøhetta mountain and the Rondane Mountains. The bike tour leads through Folldal and then through Grimsdalen, a very lush dairy farm valley. Here, you can still find traces of the old hunting- and dairy farm traditions. With transport up the steepest hills, this is an averagely demanding trip through the marvellous high mountains-nature! The trip can starts and end at Hjerkinn and can be done between june 15th - september 14th.
